Our client is a prestigious, long-established firm with a strong reputation, located in central Wellington.

As a result of planned retirements, the firm has a rare opportunity for a senior lawyer to enter the partnership with seven other well respected Partners, and make his or her mark. In order to be considered for this opportunity, it is imperative that the successful applicant have the relevant legal experience at senior level, as well as bringing a strong client following to the firm. The specific area of practice is relatively flexible.

In return, they can offer a unique working environment where emphasis is placed on quality advice and long-term client relationships, in an inclusive, democratic partnership. Remuneration is based on profit share, and the successful candidate will not be required to invest equity into the firm.

It is of key importance that the successful candidate brings on board clients and relationships that can be leveraged throughout the firm; therefore ideally the successful placement will have operated recently at senior associate level or higher in Wellington, or elsewhere in New Zealand.
